Ambience a bit unusual, friendly food great.
Went there for the first time today. Incredibly nice and courteous staff, coupled with very tasty food. We'll definitely see you again. Thank you 👍
As always, the food was delicious. The atmosphere is very inviting and the service is first class. We didn't feel like in a restaurant, but like in a cozy home with a great terrace. This was our second time in the pig's nose and we plan to stop there more often. We recommend. Heike and Axel
Anyone who offers a cordon bleu with fried potatoes for EUR 14.50 on their menu and then brings 2 squishy mini schnitzel on top of each other with a little ham in the middle (cheese was probably out) and completely tasteless fried potatoes should not be overlooked by such a rating wonder. I have rarely eaten so badly. The supposedly friendly host is of no use either. But he takes money - even for bad food.
Very nice host. Mostly German cuisine. Food extremely tasty and at fair prices. I can only recommend it.
Surprisingly nice ambience with beer garden, very nice service and delicious food at reasonable prices. We recommend.
It's a smaller but very cozy restaurant. The portions are lovingly arranged and are plentiful. If you can't manage it, it can be packed well and taken with you. There are even meals for dogs. So nobody is neglected. The service is friendly.
Delicious and lovingly prepared German cuisine. The small beer garden in the backyard is quiet and invites you to linger. The piglet platter was delicious. 😋
For the first time I went to eat there today. Called spontaneously and got a reservation for later. Nice host and wonderful cook. Price performance top. The taste was super good and you can see from the pictures that it was excellent. I'll be back
Very tasty food in a dignified restaurant. The solyanka was great. The boss throws everything alone with bravur and is still super friendly. It was a pleasure.
Very tasty food. In addition, a great service paired with a good sense of humor, if you so desire. Always worth a visit.
At the first stop of our boat tour we were in Brandenburg. Together with a family friend we were looking for a restaurant. Unsuccessful attempts (full, no longer available, despite visiting during opening hours). Then we asked the pig's nose and one of the group only went in and came out with the result as well. Our 6 year old had to go to the toilet urgently. So I went in with her - both with face masks - to ask if we could go to the toilet and if food was offered outside the house because the kids were now impatient and hungry. Since I didn't see any of the staff inside, we first went to the toilet and when we came back I spoke to the waiter - obviously it was the host himself. He replied harshly and unfriendly no and it was impossible to just go to the toilet like that. You couldn't do that. I apologized for our behavior and declared the urgency that I had not seen anyone. I also want to pay for the toilet. He just said that it still doesn't work and he is alone and has no capacity at all. The tone with which he said this was anything but appropriate and very angry. Obviously he was totally overwhelmed and irritated. With all understanding for the landlords in the current time, I wish this innkeeper that he and his children or grandchildren will be shown more understanding in such a situation. We were all glad we didn't get a place there, because child and family-friendly is different.
The service super, of course, friendly. The food is prepared with a lot of love. The eye eats too. Highly recommended. Sylke Kluge
We were very satisfied with the food, and the service was friendly and quick. To recommend.
The landlord was friendly and tried to position us in spite of corona so that we could sit "together". The food met my expectations. It was delicious and freshly prepared, but the schnitzel was more of an industrial category. The portion was really big, no sign of hunger. The offer ranges from soup to salad, many schnitzel variations, fish to dog watching for four-legged friends
This is awesome !!!! The name alone is worth a visit, so we are gone. Price performance totally ok (I got sat) And that doesn't happen very often to me. The host totally nice, and accommodating. He suggests dishes that are not on the menu. And they have a lot to offer in terms of taste I had grilled pork schnitzel with asparagus and cheese, NOW IT'S COMING homemade croquettes. Where is there anything else? They are trying very hard! And if you like to create space in front of the delicious food, you could also eat in the toilet. It's that clean.
The landlord is incredibly unfriendly, little interest in the guest, no reservation possible on a Friday at 7:00 p.m., the reference to the kitchen closing at 7:00 p.m., impossible really. We wanted to hold a funeral service there, no sympathy, no sympathy, just pointers to what is not going to work. I have rarely seen such terrible dealings with guests in the catering trade. No recommendation from me.
We had very tasty schnitzel with homemade fries and a Bohemian black beer. Perfect! The host is very friendly and entertaining. We felt very comfortable.
Extremely tasty German cuisine! We loved it there.
Great traditional german food. Amazing food. Would definately recommend
I like it! 5 stars!!!
Very nice cozy restaurant .... food was delicious and adequate .... I would come again and again ....
I decided I would never go again, as I was with my wife and new daughter in a buggy. I had a visitor with my eldest daughter in her 20s visiting. As with many places in Europe having children means you're treated like a 2nd class citizen and this was the case here. I moved back to Germany after living in the UAE where children are welcomed with open arms.
So delicious! I had the vegetarian plate with sauted mushrooms, potatoes that were creamy on the inside and crunchy on the outside, and veggie patties covered in freshly made vegetable sauce with salad. For desert i had cinnamon stewed cherries with vanilla sauce. The decor is quirky and cute with a pig theme. Overall I was very pleased. I will definitely go back again!!
Very good restaurant. The food was fresh, plentiful and delicious. I can only recommend it.
Having been in Germany for over two weeks my group and I were disappointed with the lack of traditional German Beer Houses and we were chomping at the bit for a homestyle Jagerschnitzel. We struck gold at this quaint and cozy beer house/ garden situated in the township of Brandenburg. Expect quirky pig inspired beer house decor inside or head outside and relax under the huge umbrella in the enclosed beer garden. The service is friendly and our waitress did her best to accomodate our lack of fluency in the native tounge. The fare was exceptional! Don’t expect a gastronomical masterpiece occupying the centre of a huge white plate, do expect mouth watering homestyle German food delivered in generous servings the way Oma used to make!! We had the Pork Schnitzel topped with grilled cheese sauerkraut accompanied with potatoes and gravy; all cooked to perfection and served with a lettuce cup side salad which added a fresh and chrisp contrast to the heavier German fare. With no room for desert we battled through and ordered a apple strudel. Suffice to say, even though I was bursting at the sides from my perfect schnitzel I couldn’t leave any of the perfectly baked strudel to wast! In conclusion if you are ever In Brandenburg don’t pass us this little gem!
Friendly
